A short introduction to the project

What is number 1 question visitors usually ask the artist? Of course it is "could you tell us about your pictures, please. It is so natural, as any person, that loves art is interested in the inner world of an artist, the feelings and associations during the creative process. In this part of the site I'd like to tell about one of my paintings, both new and old, which are of special interest for those, who love art. Besides, often, these pictures were very valuable for me, my favorite works during a certain period of time. It usually happens while working on new paintings, but sometimes the feeling of special attitude to a work is with me for a longer period, even many years after its creation I cannot but thinking about it. You will be able to learn about technology I used, I will try to analyze my work and the most interesting thing for lovers of art to get a chance to learn why and how this painting was done.

This picture wasn't created by chance. It happens that you enjoy, working on a picture, and when it is finished, you feel, that there is a lack of something in it you feel like taking a brush and colors to start changing something on the canvas. Nearly the same happened to this work. It was absolutely different at the beginning its name was "the queen of fish" and it was connected to the zodiac sign of fish. Here I'd like to stress the fact that I met a lot of people of this sign "fish" during different years of my life. Those people I met have always been important for me. Exactly at the period I was working on the ideas of the future picture "the queen of fish", a new person came to my life and influenced it a lot changing it to the better. The picture was displayed at many exhibitions; one could see it in my studio too. But near other pictures it looked a bit strange. Maybe, I should put it in a different way, making a one picture show. Unfortunately there was no opportunity for it.... One day a decision to change the picture altogether came to my mind and i turned it to 'night' The former picture disappeared, it is hidden inside the canvas under the layers of new paints, but I always feel it. Only photos of the previous painting are left....
